

Pecos Gathering & Marketing was founded in 2005 by Jerry & Jonathan Jensen, who believed a customer focused gathering business could thrive in the Permian Basin, despite a crowded field of existing competitors. We have grown steadily since our inception by staying true to the same basic principles common to all good service businesses:
On the gathering side of our business, we see our role as an important extension of a producer’s operation. For a drilling program to run smoothly, crude must consistently get from the wellhead to market. While the proposition is simple, the practice can be challenging. We understand any transport disruption not only hinders pumpers and creates downhole problems, but it can also strain the cashflow of an operation. |
We strive to provide reassuring consistency every load, every day, every month, every year. On the marketing side of our business, we see our role as ensuring that operators get the best possible price for their crude, while also understanding the market dynamics that can affect pricing. We like to help educate customers about pricing formula factors such as the P Plus, Roll Component, Midland/Cushing Differential, and Sweet/Sour Differential. We can then help to devise the best pricing approach based on an operator's objectives and risk tolerance. Our current operational focus is the eastern portion of the Permian Basin, but we deploy trucks throughout the region including Midland, Odessa, Andrews, Big Spring, and Hobbs, NM. Our fleet is among the newest in the business, consisting of Peterbilt tractors and Heil and Stephens trailers. Our greatest asset is our employees and the can-do attitude we all share. While anyone can promise service, few actually back it up with results. We are proud to compare our track record of service with any of our competitors.
